Case Management software developer, Eclipse Legal Systems, has Proclaimed itself to be the ‘fastest gun’ in legal technology, after recently signing a new client in under 7 hours from initial enquiry through to signed sale agreement.
Eclipse’s previous fastest deal was a London-based startup Personal Injury specialist at the recent Legal IT exhibition in Islington (February 2006) – the firm being signed up on day 2 of the event after a day 1 meeting and software demonstration.
This new record – set at 6 hours 58 minutes – has been achieved by Bradford firm Sekhon & Firth. The practice’s first enquiry was received by Eclipse at 10.35am on Thursday 6th April and, following a same-day demonstration, saw final sale agreements signed at 5.33pm the same day. Eclipse Sales Manager, Dolores Evelyn, was responsible for both sales and has now completed more than 150 new client deals during her time at Eclipse.
Sekhon & Firth will be implementing a Proclaim Personal Injury system to manage new opportunities in the region from both private clients and key case referrers. Head of PI at Sekhon & Firth, David Jacobson, comments on the firm’s decision:
“Having seen on older generation of Proclaim some years ago at a previous practice, I was keen to see how the system had changed and how it could help us take advantage of new PI opportunities being presented. It was clear from the outset that Proclaim would be right for the job, and making the step from there to the purchase stage was the logical decision!”
