Leading Case Management Software provider, Eclipse Legal Systems, has signed an agreement with international law firm Eversheds Sutherland to implement the Proclaim software solution in the practice’s Legal Systems Group (LSG) litigation unit.
Eversheds Sutherland is a modern and progressive full service corporate law firm, employing over 4,500 people worldwide. The LSG litigation unit manages complex work in numerous sectors (including claims management, mortgage enforcement, recoveries and property) for some of the world’s largest financial institutions and insurers.
Eversheds Sutherland originally implemented Proclaim some 12 months ago, with ‘Phase 1’ implementation taking place in the firm’s Subrogated Insurance Recoveries Team. During that period, the system has been tailored to meet the firm’s unique needs, which led to ‘Phase 2’ implementation in the Eversheds Sutherland department managing work on the Cross Rail project.
This latest deal to be announced (‘Phase 3’), will see Proclaim Case Management rolled out to a further 160 Eversheds Sutherland staff. Proclaim will provide the core backbone for processing case work in the LSG litigation unit, being tailored for each team’s particular needs. Eclipse has also provided its Elite integration application (Elite is the central financial system at Eversheds Sutherland) to assist in seamless matter inception and processing of time recording data.
Paul Caris, CIO at Eversheds Sutherland, comments:
“As a firm, we are looking to revolutionise our processes and systems in order to provide an efficient and high quality service to our clients. We wanted a solution that provided us with both a flexible and user-friendly Case Management system that could be implemented rapidly and with minimal fuss. Proclaim fitted that bill perfectly.”
