Leading legal software specialist, Eclipse Legal Systems, has announced a surge of growth despite tough economic conditions. The firm has revealed the following headlines:
– In the first quarter of 2009, a total of 23 new practices chose Eclipse’s Proclaim case and practice management solutions. The firms range from new startups (for example, Richardsons Solicitors, based in Hemel Hempstead) through to established high-street practices (for example, Kingswell Watts (West Yorkshire), taking Proclaim for its Personal Injury department, and Brady Solicitors (Nottingham) taking the Proclaim debt recovery solution).
– This same first quarter has seen Eclipse implement over 600 additional user licences for its Proclaim system. This figure includes new sales and expansion from existing clients. In particular, many of Eclipse’s Personal Injury clients are experiencing impressive growth – for example, Winn Solicitors (Newcastle) has recently added 40 Proclaim licences to its system, making for a total usercount of over 200.
– Eclipse’s staff headcount has passed the 80 mark, and the firm is still aggressively recruiting, with opportunities available in its Support, Development, Training and Consultancy teams.
– The firm is putting finishing touches to brand new premises – adjacent to its existing Bradford HQ – which will give headroom to expand to 200 staff. The new building will be used in conjunction with Eclipse’s existing HQ, and will offer an enhanced client training suite as well as providing a new home for some of Eclipse’s core departments.
