Case management software provider, Eclipse Legal Systems, has reported the successful rollout and usage of its Home Information Packs (HIPs) creation tool.
HIP creation is one area of Eclipse’s umbrella ‘Document Collation’ system – an internally developed system which enables fee earners to select numerous (unlimited) separate documents from within a case, and combine these into a complete and paginated electronic ‘pack’ with a single button-click.
Primarily used in HIP creation, Document Collation can also be utilised for the preparation of Court / Trial ‘bundles’, and indeed any area in which it is advantageous to pull together disparate items into one complete file. The functionality is provided free of charge as an integrated section of Eclipse’s latest software release – Proclaim v3.
A long-standing Eclipse client, Barnetts Solicitors (one of the country’s top 5 Conveyancing firms), has worked in conjunction with Eclipse to tailor the system for use within its new clickhips.co.uk online transaction tool. Barnetts has a 300-user Proclaim Case Management system to run its volume property caseloads. The firm’s IT Director, James Whelan, comments:
“We have worked closely with Eclipse in tailoring the HIPs system to our bespoke needs. In integrating HIP request and creation with our online service offerings, search provider (SearchFlow) and case management software, we have been able to streamline the entire transactional process in line with the overall goal of removing stress from the buying / selling process! We operate in a competitive marketplace where time and process efficiencies are core constituents of our business model – Eclipse’s systems enable us to continue to improve our products and to move upwards in the top-tier of conveyancing businesses.”
