Thousands of man hours saved through Eclipse and Premex integration

Premex Services and market-leading legal software specialist Eclipse have delivered the next step in process efficiency for personal injury claims.

In a move that is already saving solicitors significant time and money, Premex has integrated its online instruction and medico-legal appointment booking system Vu Direct, with Eclipse’s personal injury case management system Proclaim.

With every PI claim requiring a medical report, solicitors using Proclaim can now instruct one of Premex’s 9000 medical experts and have instant access to more than 30 000 appointment slots at one click of a button with no need to re-enter their client’s details, saving an average of half an hour’s work for each fee earner or administrative employee.

With Premex Services responsible for organising over 140 000 medical expert appointments every year, the potential reduction in frictional cost is significant.

A number of solicitors’ practices have already gone live with the Vu-Direct/Proclaim integration as part of a pilot project which began in August 2010. Manchester-based Delta Legal’s head of RTA Paul Woodward explains:
