Case Management software specialist, Eclipse Legal Systems, is celebrating another superb showing in the Law Society’s Software Solutions guide.

The guide features 15 Legal IT suppliers, whose end users underwent extensive research by the Law Society in order to ascertain the quality of the suppliers’ software and services.

Of all the firms in the guide, Eclipse Legal Systems ranks top in the “Likelihood for Clients to Recommend” section for the second year in succession, with over 90% of end-users stating that they would strongly recommend the firm’s Proclaim Case Management software.

Charles Christian, respected legal IT expert who provides his own overview for the Law Society’s guide, says of Eclipse’s remarkable recent growth and increased market presence:

“Eclipse is proving to be one of the great success stories of the legal IT world, having expanded its customer base by over 25% during the past year – and winning orders from a broad range of firms from large, established practices through to new start-ups.”

Eclipse’s overall rating averages 8.4 out of 10 across all areas the Law Society investigated, with ‘Top 3’ positions in over 70% of the 27 research categories. Eclipse ranked 1st place in the following 8 areas:

– Likelihood for Clients to Recommend
– Professionalism of Sales Approach
– Quality of Training Offered
– Keeping Clients Up-to-Date with Changes in Legal Practises
– Providing Innovative Solutions
– Ease of Configurability
– Improving Efficiency and Effectiveness of Law Firm
– Best of Breed Solution

Eclipse attributes the results to its extensive ongoing client care strategy which maintains strong relationships with existing users despite the firm generating ever-increasing volumes of ‘new business’.

The Law Society’s IT panel comments on Eclipse and Proclaim’s showing:

“This is well-specified and scalable software from a company which not only majors on delivering a feel-good factor to its purchasers, but actually delivers real practice benefits.”
