Data Storage

Proclaim®’s powerful database stores all your contacts for each case – Clients, Companies, Solicitors, Counsel, Witnesses, etc – and records all correspondence, be it phone calls, letters, faxes or e-mails. Incoming mail, faxes and even photographic evidence can be scanned into Proclaim® and logged against the relevant contact to provide a complete onscreen case summary.

Expert Guidance

Proclaim®’s in-built ‘workflow’ can be tailored to ensure that cases are dealt with consistently and in keeping with your firm’s standards. For example, automatic date tracking (3-month window, etc) enables you to keep abreast of all time-critical steps and limitations, dependent upon specific case circumstances. Onscreen prompts and warnings result in both faster, simpler case progression and elimination of operational errors.

Financial Analysis

Proclaim® records time on every action administered, storing a complete record of costs for each case. Calculation of losses (salary, benefits, holidays, etc) is accurately logged to provide a clear picture of every case, and disbursements are also calculated to ensure an accurate breakdown of all transactions. This enables you to produce 100% accurate bills with ease at case conclusions.

Document Creation and Management

Fast and effortless production means that at the start of a case, it’s possible to generate all relevant documentation automatically at the touch of a button. The library of documentation can be tailored quickly and easily, and context-sensitive, ‘intelligent’ documents can be created to ensure that correspondence is relevant and personalised.

Text Messaging

SMS (text) messaging direct to clients’ mobile phones is available from the desktop at the click of a button, keeping them up to date with developments and reminding them of important appointments, e.g. “Mr Smith – a reminder that your hearing will take place on 23rd September at 10am.”

Management Reports

A range of standard reports is included, with the option to define your own, based upon any items of data within the database. For example, you could run a report on all cases referred by a particular source in a single month, listed by overall value or geographical region; all limitation dates approaching within the next week; hearing dates presented by month and relating to individual fee earners, etc.

Diary

A full diary facility is linked with all case activities, with automated reminders to ensure important events are not overlooked. Provisions are made for all limitation dates to ensure you are always aware of the timescale attached for each individual case.
