Founded in 2009 by brothers Kamran Akram and Imran Akram, Asons Solicitors has become one of the leading claimant PI names in the north-west. In just over 2 years the practice has expanded from 3 to over 60 staff, managing thousands of cases for claimants nationwide.
Asons Solicitors declared ambitious goals from the very beginning. For the new firm, success depended on the ability to compete in a market of numerous personal injury service providers by consistently managing high numbers of cases with utmost quality and efficiency. A user-friendly and adaptable Case Management Software solution was vital.
An integrated Proclaim Case Management solution for personal injury claims, but which also includes provision for the firm’s other areas of work (industrial disease, PPI claims and conveyancing). Asons also implemented the Proclaim scanning system and Proclaim SMS text messaging to underline a commitment to a ‘paperless’ environment.
A single desktop solution provides a complete picture and a consistent user experience for all case types. Automation of tasks such as document production and scheduling follow-ups allows fee earners to fully focus on client relationships rather than administration.
Claims are progressed 100% digitally – all incoming documentation is scanned and stored within the relevant Proclaim file history. Email is used to send and receive correspondence and the firm accepts claims from referrers electronically, imported directly into Proclaim.
Ongoing performance intelligence is provided by Proclaim’s integrated reporting suite. Detailed claim statistics enable the monitoring of KPIs to ensure that the firm maximises profitability and weeds out work streams that do not justify themselves.
